The Lake to Lake Trail stretches across Bellevue from Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington. It connects pristine open spaces, parks, farmlands, forests, wetlands, historic buildings and neighborhoods.

A signage system for kiosks and wayside interpretation was designed to provide a diverse array of interpretation and orientation. Mercer Slough Nature Park is one the state’s prized wetlands. Nature trails provide access and interpretation represents both cultural and natural history of the park. Bellevue has developed one of the premier environmental educational programs in the country.
