Moonlight Becomes Her
For most of their lives, cougars or pumas, are solitary cats. Their nocturnal wanderings in search of food or mates often take them across large areas of habitat. Their territories can extend across several dozen square miles, depending on the abundance of prey. Conservation of large cats concentrates on habit preservation, allowing them room to roam in the moonlight.
